FUNCTION AREA: Finance
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for all aspects of the Domina Management
AS financial records up to statutory accounts including monthly management accounts.
The role will also manage the smooth running of the accounting office.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Directly reporting to the General Manager of Domina Inn Ilmarine and Domina Inn
City hotels in Tallin, Estonia. Functionally reporting to the VP Finance of Domina
Hotel Group Head office in Milan.

Ideally, you will have:

Solid educational qualifications and or work experience |
|
 |
Excellent English, Russian and another European language |
|
 |
Strong experience using computer systems and hotel PMS and POS systems operating
procedures and accounting practices strategies and techniques |
|
 |
Good communication skills verbal and written |
|
 |
Previous experience in hotel industry including operations or other industry
using financial and cost controls. Also revenue management techniques, strategies
and data bases a plus for a candidate |
|
 |
3 years experience in accounting in conjunction with hotel operations with a
focus on cash controls, procedures |
|
 |
Previous experience with an international Hotel Chain as assistant controller,
assistant financial manager or accountant is preferred |
JOB OBJECTIVES:
|
|
Preparing monthly management accounts including narrative report on budget variances |
|
 |
Provision of regular cash flow information to assist Company plan payments |
|
 |
Provide Directors/senior management team with answers to ad hoc requests for
financial analysis |
|
 |
Review and arrange insurances, including assets, professional indemnity, travel
and events |
|
 |
Development, implementation and operation of systems and procedures to ensure
integrity of accounting information and safe custody of assets, including procedures
to eliminate and detect fraud or theft of company assets |
|
 |
Annually, preparation of detailed financial budgets and cash flows working closely
with budget holders and line managers |
|
 |
Attendance at Finance Committee meetings and holding of regular debtors meeting |
|
 |
Manage financial aspects of Domina Management AS in Estonia |
|
 |
Ensuring appropriate expenditure records maintained and reporting to grant awarding
Authorities as required |
|
 |
Prepare hotels revenue forecasting as well as Profit& Lost monthly statement |
|
 |
Annual Audit preparation incl. necessary reports and documentation for auditing |
